If the fabric is too soiled even for a simple clean, then you can remove the furniture cover and launder them easily with a gentle detergent. You can also treat watermarks with rubbing alcohol and other clear alcohol types such as gin or vodka. Lingering odors can be removed with baking soda and water applied directly for the spot and then vacuumed after.
